I want a chef's knife! this ONE! it's the most gorgeous/pretty knife I have ever seen. other than this one which I spotted in taka..these knives are highly recommended by chefs. anyway, you may ask what's a chef's knife. it's a multi purpose knife that can be used for practically anything. and it's something quite personal to chefs. and for me, it's a step towards becoming/training to be a chef. although mama's set of knives are good, I always end up with blisters or some sort of abrasion on my hand. and today after chopping carrots, celery, onions and mincing beef, I have this tiny blister between my index finger and palm. heh. not that I'm complaining but.. oh I made shepherd's pie from scratch. it's one of my best attempts. the random bag of local potatoes made the nicest mashed pototoes. after boiling for abt half an hour, it was so so so easy to mash them up. there's no milk at home!(how can this be??) so I used cream cheese and butter to flavour the potatoes and mama's idea of adding corned beef to it is brilliant(alhtough we know corned beef is full of bad stuff) the end result..whoa..damn nice. because it's dinner and it's dark. I was too lazy to take a photo. so you shall just imagine how nice it was. =p OH on MTV today, they had this Rain concert in New York. Rain is like the one and only hot Korean hunk. he has this really really boyish smile. he has a hot bod. he dances, sings and acts really well. so it's the whole package=) ok enough of my nonsense. I'm going with mama to the wet market and supermarket I think. and to the fruit shop too. 10:45 PM
