I don't know whether to laugh at myself or slap myself ten times. tsk. By plugging in my earphones, I accidentally pressed against some weird wire and the comp restarted. my gosh I'm so clever. yes. I was typing out my entry halfway. oh I wasted my entire week studying for biochemistry 'cos I just flunked it today. at least 3 days was spent studying for this silly test and I just screwed it all up. rar. but school has been pretty good=) randomly funny and nice.. tribal time on thursday was fun! we opened the Bertie Botts jelly beans today!( you know those from the harry potter book) popo brought them back. and they are GROSS! oh my gosh. we were tryong out the flavours.I didn't try all. vomit and rotten egg just smelled so bad that I didn't dare to try it. some flavours tasted really alike to the yucky flavour it is eg soap. it's scarey really. my comp is laggy! why is it laggy? it's not like I have alot of files in my comp. hmph. it's another nice day. I woke up to cook lunch with mama. mama cooked devil curry which he learnt from aunty Theresa. it's not very hot/spicy but it's nice and sour! I ate up the leftovers just now=p oh I did pork roast again. it turned out fine. the leek, potatoes and pumpkin was fantastic.(I think due to the extreme temperatures I subjected it too.) the whole tray of roast veggies came out steaming. yes it was really steaming. so this is how it looks like.finally a photo! after a billion years!

it's damn exciting! THEY'RE BACK!!!! WHEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we went to pick them up! they're all well and pretty tanned due to the extremely hot weather in shanghai. it is actually rather interesting and exciting to live in shanghai. we found quite alot from tristan. he's in some British international school with the other kids. school is good for him. it's pretty slack and the kids enjoy going to school. and our dear tristan eats western stuff now! =) life there seems pretty good. jack yiyi is living as a tai tai. they travel everywhere in a taxi. shopping in shanghai is uber cheap!! yiyi bought so many things back! presents for everyone!! one bottle of choya there costs S$13! and clothes, fake stuff and everything is so cheap! yiyi bought winter clothing for claud. the clothes are so nice and fake=p but they look very good. oh. there's this really nice preserved plums which are nice and crunchy. and apples! a huge box costs 16RMB which is about S$3-4. they're pretty nice. the usual fuji apples. jack yiyi looks visibly younger=) all her wrinkles have disappeared! they're leading a good life there I guess. calista and jared are speaking in the international school accent which is awfully cute. and tristan still hasn't learnt to speak chinese with the shanghai accent yet! oh jared is getting really big now. he's almost as tall as didi when he's only 1 1/2 years younger than did. didi should eat more! I'm just very happy that they're back for 2 months=) 11:45 PM
Jack yiyi and family are coming back today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY! we're going to the airport after church. tristan is going back to school(ACS) on monday. it's quite amusing that yiyi wants him to study when they come back. they're coming over tomorrow! so I can cook nice stuff for them. oh a few days ago I baked cookies. for once I feel very accomplished, didi rushed to eat the last few pieces. maths and chem homework is waiting downstairs. and lunch too=p oh well, I hope the new term would be a good one. yes, I will study. 1:30 PM

I'm not eating dinner. I ate too much just now. I met up with ser today!! so fun! I woke up and was watching cooking shows before ser came. we went to eat Billy Bombers. ser had this voucher thingy. so we used it=) we ate mixed grill! and we ate it for a very very long time. it was quite nice but very filling. I had a great time with ser. we talked about all sorts of stuff. we got more vouchers=p I like today. 9:30 PM
ah shucks. I've got a photo to put on my blog today. (I wasn't lazy finally) but the camera is downstairs and I've no idea where the cable is. rar. I woke up early to bake cookies for BS. and decided to bake mango cheesecake too=) both turned out very well which is good. my bedroom was in a huge mess earlier on 'cos they were doing the parquet flooring in that corner. it's all done. I got down to designing this menu/recipe box thing for pam. it's quite fun. and I met darling today. the poor girl is wearing ankle guards and she's still wearing heels. but I'm glad she's doing fine. anyway, meeting up with the BV gang was DAMN FUN!! I totally love it(although nana couldn't make it) we had so so so much fun talking, eating at pizza hut and taking photos. and YY u will not post that terribly unglam photo of me ok! BS IS 18!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! haha. we stayed out pretty late. I got home slightly past 12. it was nice just sitting together and talking crap. and drinking one sad bottle of long island bought by esther 'cos she's the only one who's 18. it's amazing how time passes and how long we have known each other. and how well we can predict each others' behaviour/feelings. we all agreed that secondary school was the nicest/slackest time ever=) I love it. =) 1:00 AM

=) I was able to wake up to go with mama to the wet market today. oh there was this thing that made me quite amused. mama and I were at the butcher. and we were buying our usual amount of pork(belly pork & ribs for roasting,soup ribs and minced meat) we took quite long 'cos the guy had to cut the stuff all up and take out blah blah blah. there was this aunty and grandma behind us. and they asked me whether we're buying for our shop or we're having a party. I was trying not to laugh out and told them it's the usual amount we buy and we have a big familyX) we got our usual stuff and went back home. then, we went to JP to the supermarket. the house was seriously lacking(food). yes I got Ghiradelli choc chips and Nestle Toll house semi-sweet morsels!! yay=) I shall bake something with it very soon. tomorrow maybe. I've found all my bio notes. sadly, I fell asleep in my bed 'cos fresh sheets and my softest pillow appeal to me. yup. but I did wake up to cook dinner. JAP CURRY! YUM! I think S&B Golden Curry(medium) tastes better than InHouse Vermont Curry(medium hot) and japanese curries should never be hot. papa came back already=) we went to the airport to pick him up. rar! me and mel wanna go to Japan. a plane from Osaka/Kansai landed just now!!!!and from tokyo too.. 11:45 PM

I want a chef's knife! this ONE! it's the most gorgeous/pretty knife I have ever seen. other than this one which I spotted in taka..these knives are highly recommended by chefs. anyway, you may ask what's a chef's knife. it's a multi purpose knife that can be used for practically anything. and it's something quite personal to chefs. and for me, it's a step towards becoming/training to be a chef. although mama's set of knives are good, I always end up with blisters or some sort of abrasion on my hand. and today after chopping carrots, celery, onions and mincing beef, I have this tiny blister between my index finger and palm. heh. not that I'm complaining but.. oh I made shepherd's pie from scratch. it's one of my best attempts. the random bag of local potatoes made the nicest mashed pototoes. after boiling for abt half an hour, it was so so so easy to mash them up. there's no milk at home!(how can this be??) so I used cream cheese and butter to flavour the potatoes and mama's idea of adding corned beef to it is brilliant(alhtough we know corned beef is full of bad stuff) the end result..whoa..damn nice. because it's dinner and it's dark. I was too lazy to take a photo. so you shall just imagine how nice it was. =p OH on MTV today, they had this Rain concert in New York. Rain is like the one and only hot Korean hunk. he has this really really boyish smile. he has a hot bod. he dances, sings and acts really well. so it's the whole package=) ok enough of my nonsense. I'm going with mama to the wet market and supermarket I think. and to the fruit shop too. 10:45 PM

Enka by Kanjani8 I randomly felt like putting this part of the song on. it doesn't really mean anything much. but then..heh. anyway, it's a nice day. well, quite. it's damn disappointing when people don't do things honestly and openly. after a certain experience, I've learnt to admit to whatever I've done and account for it. it's just being upfront with your own feelings isn't it? and being able to lift yourself up infront of others. and I don't really like taking much money from papa and mama 'cos there's so many kids in the family. and sometimes I wonder where all the money come from. the money to pay all those bills, the house, the car, the 200+ weekly grocery bills and everything else. yup. papa and mama's combined income is quite alot. but when you take into consideration all the expenses, heh.. I wonder. that's why I don't mind if I don't get alot. if it's enough to get me along, I'm fine with it. but I do like an occasional 50 bucks=p we had baked rice for lunch! we used salmon and it's damn nice. I was quite worried that it would be quite bland. but the rice was a lil too mushy for me. the rest found it okay though. papa went to jakarta! he's so so so busy these few weeks. he's like buried in work which is quite sad. I hope he had a happy fathers' day. mama, didi and I went to the library. I got a few good books=) I shall make full use of the remaining hols to cook/bake anything I want. vanessa, charmaine,ryan and maryann yiyi are coming over tomorrow! and we're having shepherd's pie for dinner! excited! 10:48 PM

I slept at 4am and woke up at 1pm. gosh. and I ended up sleeping more after lunch. which is bad. anyway, I've decided that I need to plan what I'm going to do for the next week. I need to find my purpose in studying. and how I'm possibly gonna motivate myself to even pick up that stack of notes to study. I guess it's gonna be a turning point. I think my handwriting has changed. I haven't really written anything in the past few weeks. however, I'm so undecided for the time being. so I shall happily go watch MTV Japan music awards now. 11:45 PM
I'm supposed to be damn tired now. I came home, plonked myself on the bean bag for 50 mins and, talked to YY. but apparently, I managed to pull myself upstairs to transfer 2 arashi albums into the comp. and yes.. I'm perfectly fine now. you know what? I'm really happy that the class came down to can. for some, it was like a flag day. I myself have never ever liked flag days. actually, I absolutely hated them. I so don't like raising funds for something I don't even know about. and I hate approaching people to get money. claud's project is different. somehow, I got pulled into the whole thing from day one. claud was like "claire, can you come down and help me? I really need help." I though I'll be damn bored by the whole thing. instead, I ended up helping even more. I think by busking, we can get more funds. which is in aid of the bone marrow programme(yes I have been repeating that ten billion times) and through all those performances by the buskers, I feel more comfortable asking people for their money. I'm quite happy that people are quite generous. local people are quite nice okay.. and random caucasian men. and not to mention japanese businessmen.. and KC realised my 'thank you very much' sounds/rhymes with like ohayou gozaimasu(jap for good morning) I'm glad some understood the whole meaning of doing this canning/flag day. if some don't understand, it's okay. I'm fine. but I'm really really happy that people put in their all to raise funds. for that, I'm very grateful. I've finally understood why people send out people to raise funds and all. I don't feel very strongly for the cause. but I do know I really want to raise funds for the BMDP. and I wanna make sure that claud's project will run smoothly. good canners, great buskers, generous people, efficient station masters, people manning the audio, no rain, both stations open, people to help out with random things. and I'm so tempted to help out again. and go down everyday to help to can, to whatever. =) well, it's somethingood isn't it? anyway, sorry to those who got quite pissed with that person. I though that you guys were doing a really really good job. anyway, our class were the best canners so far, no matter how long we canned=) I've seen how awful the past canners were. 2:00 AM

hello! it's a tiring day. me and mel went to help out again. it was pretty okay. helped out with audio and canning. rar. I'm damn tired from today's stuff. I dieded just now before talking to IH and KC. I absolutely love the Isetan supermarket and Sun Moulin Bakery. the stuff is so so so nice. and there's all those jap stuff and jap produce that is air flown over. it's just so cool. and walking around there you can hear smatterings of japanese being spoken. I'm just quite fascinated with the land of the rising sun. not only the male boy bands okay.. I find the culture quite interesting. and the food! japanese food isn't what we can find here. all the regular 'japanese' stuff we eat here is just a teeny weeny fraction of what you can get in Japan. I have to go there one day... anyway, I was quite pissed for a moment. I totally hate it when people use me. and I so cannot stand poeple who are petty. and I absolutely despise people who don't fight for their own stand or even for themselves. but oh well. I don't care already. it's a total waste of time. tomorrow, we're going to aunty teresa's house!! exciting! maryann yiyi and the rest are going too. chris and cat are coming to stay over I think. =) it's a nice day. I have finally gotten my earphones and extension wires back after pestering and screaming at melzies. so yay! I like my playlists. they're very nice. anyway, I went over to jdee's place finally! we had lots of fun(tribaling) we talked about all sorts of rubbish. and we cooked lunch. our meatballs turned into random bits of meat. but oh well, the spaghetti tasted okay so it's not that bad. but we ended up eating like half a black pepper chicken when her mum and dad came home. the arashi variety shows were so so funny! ohno is so cute. I finally understood why she likes ohno so much. Arashi is a great JE group. they're so happy and everything. and their music is really nice. jdee saw yamapi's daite senorita single at MJ! AHH!! I want! yamapi~ haha. okay enough of my jappy stuff. oh I talked to KC just now. it was quite amusing. heh. I'm going down to help claud tomorrow. mel too. =) I wanna buy an-pan(red bean bun) from sun moulin(jap bakery) I'm dying from this silly cough. yuck. 10:30 PM

well, I woke up early in the morning(8 o'clock!!) just to get to orchard to help claud. I almost couldn't wake up. and I wasn't exactly looking forward to it. I was thinking about what I was going to do after as soon as I can be dismissed by my dear sister. anyway, guess what? I ended up staying till 3.30pm voluntarily. it's a great feeling to be helping out amidst all the chaos. me and mel were slacking around in the morn until we were sent to paragon from shaw house. the setting up of the PA system was kinda delayed. we had to help with the taping of wires and what-nots. and I became the person controlling the audio. I feel very accomplished. I learnt how to connect the PA system and fiddle with the weird machine that controls the mikes and speakers. me and mel helped with the canning for abit 'cos the canners weren't very good. I feel excited. I think maybe I'll go down on wednesday to help claud again. it's fun=) the people I met are very nice. and the buskers are pretty good esp the st magaret girl in red. IH came along 'cos he happened to be in that area. and we're supposed to have dinner together. it was quite nice. and we saw mr lynn in Topman!!!! I got a shock of my life! oh my. rar. my cough gets worse at night. 11:15 PM

they're back from malaysia! =) and they brought lots of food along including dinner. Dinner was damn nice. Authentic KL yong tau foo. it's seriously the nicest stuff. mama remembered that I absolotely love the peanut pancake(tai kow men gugu, you'll know what's that.) from the market near popo's house. it's gonna be my breakfast tomorrow. and they bought lots of other goodies they usually buy. yay! oh I went to YY's church for youth meeting yesterday. it was quite nice=) hmm. I'll be going down to help claud with her CIP stuff. melzies should be coming too. MEL BOUGHT A TAKKI DRAMA THAT I WANTED TO GET!!!! =) it's an old drama. it should be from 2003. takki is damn hot. my comp is laggy! so irritating! a few windows froze and died. I shall just type this all at one go instead of jumping around. well, I'm back from class chalet. it was seriously damn fun. it's like living with classmates. fun=) most of the time, it was the usual people around. the class guys and a couple of us gals. day one was quite fun. we went grocery shopping befoe meeting the class at white sands. it was quite disappointing to see so few girls come on day one. but it's okay. we went cycling! fun! poor HL kept crashing into trees! haha it was really nice cycling. the scenery was so nice. me and HL went to K's place to sleep at night. it was so funny. HL talked rubbish in her sleep. and KC snores. thank goodness I'm not so unglam=p we all squeezed on KC's queen bed. day two was BBQ day! exciting! we went to buy food for the BBQ. and it rained when we came back. me, HL, K and K's sis ran all the way back from the cab but we still all looked like we just bathed. heh. I'm experiencing memory loss. I can't remember what we did. ok I remember already. we marinated all the random things for the BBQ. we chopped alot of garlic and onions. chopped bits were flying everywhere. and the entire place was so stinky!! we went down to downtown east to get some stuff. me and HL stayed for a long time there 'cos it was raining. what I can say is we're damn piggy. and because it was still raining, we bought newspapers to act as a temporary umbrella. it was super funny walking back! =) the guys started the fire. for once, I was too lazy to start the fire. and the scarey bit was that the aluminium tray burned through! and pam came=) HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING! I love you. that girl is so injury-prone. tsktsk. the BBQ was very nice. super fun! cooking all the stuff. the chicken was so nice to eat. the rest too. we were barbecueing and eating at the same time. too bad the BBQ didn't last even to ten. and all the chicken and sausages were all eaten up. that means our marinades were good=) bathing at the swimming pool toilets is funny. KC and HL are so funny! oh my new slippers are now gray=( I shall go buy a new pair. hmph. daytona and silly basketball game at the arcade is super fun! virtual car racing is damn fun. oh IH got drunk drinking less than me and KC. during day two, we only drank magarita(which tastes like limeade), whisky and cola(damn nice) and long island. silly fella drank half of the long island and me the rest of course. and he dieded! haha! he has so so low alcohol tolerance. KC was drinking even more and she was more or less ok. I learnt how to play tai di(finally) and mahjong. it's quite fun really. we slept at around 3. HL pushed me to the edge of the mattress! I was falling off. and she used me as a pillar!! hmph! we didn't get to see the sunrise. we were all too piggy. ok. I've rambled (more than) enough. and I'm too lazy to recall the rest. in short, I totally had a great time with the class. I love my class=) 10:00 PM

=D it's a happy day. well mama and the rest are in Ipoh right now(I think) it feels kinda lonely. but it's okay. the next few days will be really fun! oh the camera is gone! mama took it! I want the camera!! yesterday was a pretty nice day. we went to the zoo!!! =) about less than half the class came. it's was quite fun really. I didn't stay for night safari in the end. I finally got my contacts! yay! I specially went to coronation plaza to get it. I didn't go to those speciality shops in the end. it was raining so I was too lazy. I watched quite abit of TV today. entertainment news. oh MTV has lots of very nice vids today. there was EXILE, Ayumi Hamasaki, Utada Hikaru and ARASHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cooked lunch and dinner. it's quite nice. okays. I think I shall go do something else. class chalet!!!! 9:45 PM

yay! it's another nice day. I woke up too late to fry pancakes. and I was lazy to go for lunch with mama and the rest to eat lunch at taman jurong. so I stayed at home to watch this taiwan entertainment food show. it was very nice. they showcased very very yummy food. I got so hungry watching it. and then I ate lunch. and guess what? being an ultimately lazy pig, I feel asleep. haha but I did wake up to do dinner. I woke up at 4 plus. I was quite anxious 'cos I wanted to cook dinner but it was too early. I totally didn't know how to marinade the fish fillets. I just chopped up some coriander and chilli, squeezed some lemon juice and poured a few rounds of soya sauce. the marinade still needs a lil more tweaking. I think I shall use teriyaki sauce the next time. I totally love my new pans!!!!! they are so good to use. I grilled pumpkin. then I fried blueberry pancakes for dessert. and grilled fish. totally yummy dinner=) yes. I like cooking. I'm going towards the cooking side now=) grilled fish  pancakes with cookies & cream icecream 11:00 PM

=) it's a happy slack day. I woke up late. I got to YY's place quite late. thanks to me doing things so slowly. anyway, it was quite fun crapping. and I tell you YY's sis KT is scarey. as in she's not visually scarey. okay, let's say u walk into a room with YY trailing behind and yet you see YY right infront of you sitting infront of the com. it's damn scarey. YY's sis looks so much like YY now that it's scarey. my gosh.. I didn't go for YY's church youth meeting in the end. Being an absolute lazy person, I went home after that even though I wanted to go to the library. church was pretty okay. my room is in a mess. I haven't started revising or organising my notes(which is in a huge mess) and you wouldn't want to see my room now. it's very messy. bring on the kame love..where's jdee? I have no idea when jdee is going on holiday. 11:00 PM

I'm drinking/eating chinese herbal black chicken soup. it's seriously damn nice to eat. yum=) it's a nice day! we went out today. we went to taka. we ate lunch at crystal jade. it was la mian, wantan soup and xiao long bao!! super nice to eat. mama was really nice. she bought TWO non-stick pans. one grill pan and a frying pan. it's good stuff. they're scanpans(made of some titanium thing) and expensive. it costs almost 200 bucks! oh I found a pastry blender! and we finally got a new flour sifter. =) I wanted to get a knife like a multi-purpose one. so I can chop up everything and slice almost everything with it. (not like I'm gonna kill anyone with it.heh) it costs so much!! there's this really really gorgeous range. the entire set costs over one thousand dollars. the main knife I want is called the chef's knife and it costs more than 200 bucks!!! =( obviously, mama didn't buy it. I got the brochure. I shall go admire it later on. we went chinatown. mama borught us to this dessert shop. it has really really nice desserts especially the mango sago. me and melzies got birks-lookalikes! well, it's isn't real birkenstocks but I wouldn't consider them fake 'cos they're just a different brand which looks quite acceptable to me. I'm not a very brand person. I'm lazy to remember what happened. so it shall end here. more important stuff shall be kept to another day. 10:30 PM
