yes. it's a very nice day today=) IT'S MELANIE'S BIRTHDAY! fong yiyi and maryann yiyi came over(including all the kids) it feels like jack yiyi is still around only that she's not coming. haha. we had a very nice lunch. I woke up at around ten plus. and started cooking lunch with mama. mama was my 'kitchen assistant'=p anyway we did barbecue pork ribs, spaghetti,wholemeal bread rolls, roasted carrots pumpkin and potatoes . I actually wanted to do baked spaghetti but all the trays were used up and I didn't have much time. I shall make it some other time. bechamel sauce and cheese over pasta! oh spaghetti sauce was a lil different from the usual(diced carrots,tomatoes,celery,white button mushrroms.) I added in shitake mushrooms and chopped spinach. added veg! yummy. the roasted pork ribs were super nice! it wasn't overcooked this time. =) roasted pumpkin was really really nice! in short it was a very very nice lunch. I think the canivores at home enjoyed it very much. so did the veggie people aka catherine. hehe. anyway,I have discovered a new jap serial to watch. it's Kurosagi. it's airing in Japan now. it stars yamapi and the nobuta girl. it's quite nice but not fantastic. happy and slack day! the weather is terribly hot. rar.
