more and more food

trying to merge photos is no joke. someone please teach me how to merge photos! teach me adobe photoshop or something like that!

anyway, I had a great day. it's has ALOT to do with food.

chem remedial was quite rubbishy. I still don't understand carboxylic acids and I'm going to die very badly for terms.

we went out for lunch. me,mel,claud and mama. we went to Swisstotel The Stamford Equinox Restaurant. it's on level 70. the place is totally gorgeous. the view from above is lovely too.

P.S: the restrooms are so pretty!!

the food is lovely too. everything was passable. the seafood was really fresh. oysters and mussels are really nice. we had quite a few servings of food. I went for dessert for more than half the time. OH I got to eat pan-fried foie gras for the 1st time. and woah it's really nice. I can't exactly associate it with anything I've eaten but it's just really good.

their desserts are great. there's cakes,pastries, ice cream and fruits. I ate most of the desserts.
(mama stole the garnishing for the creme brulee. haha. it's the winterberry that we realised sometime ago is nice to eat)

here are the stuff I really liked(and ate the most of naturally)

cold tofu - foie gras

raspberry sorbet - green tea creme brulee

bread pudding - vanilla icecream

there's more nice stuff but I was too preoccupied with eating than taking photos=p

in short,it's a really great buffet. since mama has the membership card, we pay less than half price for the entire thing. but normally it's S$40++ per person for the semi-buffet.

we bought the kat-tun VCD which we are going to watch soon!

I went shopping with claud. mel went home 'cos she had violin lessons.

we went to the Esplanade. and we went to the Max Brennar Chocolate Bar. I had this melt-your-own-chocolate-and-cream thing. it's called suckao. it's too sweet for me but it was nice. I shall get a hug-mug next time. claud got a choc-expresso frappe.

Food Fair at Suntec convention hall was quite sucky. I was expecting slightly higher end stuff but sadly it was very supermarket-ish. there wasn't any specialty shops..

claudia bought CROCS! they are red and damn cute!!! I want those with holes. I think those are cuter!

I think this is a long post. oh well.
