 it's another pigging out day!we had steamboat at Fong yiyi's house. we had the normal steamboat and tom yum steamboat! I ate tons. the food was really nice. I made tom yum noodles for myself! lots of veggie and other stuff! it was really fun=) too bad maryanne yiyi and the rest couldn't come but I think they are coming tomorrow.Vanessa is going to stay with us for a few months 'cos she got into a secondary school here and their place isn't ready yet. I'm pretty excited! =) so fun! steam boat! the lady with white hair is my mum's godma.
my new year resolutions.(I started panicking yesterday night when I was about to sleep. it's like wham bam no resolutions yet.heh) 1)Learn/do more cooking, baking, whatever. 2)Score at least AABB for the A's. which I will do so by at least studying and doing maths hw ON MY OWN. 3)Be the person I was in Secondary school. I think I mellowed too much. or let's say lost my touch in communicating with people. no more stoning! 4)Spend more time with my family. people are leaving or moving around. so I must spend more time with them. 5)Diet and lose weight! I must be 55kg by prom or dunno when. okay I don't know what else. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! it's 2006(soon) 11:15 PM

 hello!mel turned 13 on 28 dec..yay!! I got her 2 bday presents this year.a black fake leather pencil box and a deck of rain poker cards! we had dinner at Sushi Tei Holland V. it as pretty nice. I think their curry rice rocks. it's not a single bit spicy but it tastes really good. dessert was nice too. I liked dessert the best. green tea ice cream.mochi..oh so yummy! dumdum mel =p------------> didi and his watermelon sherbet  I went shopping on 27th. nana came over. mel's friends too. they were so toot and so quiet. I think me and nana were kinda irritating. we got too high. haha! swimming was really fun. we met up with YY at westmall. we bought stuff. I like spent more than 100 bucks. heh. I bought my new school bag. it costs 64 bucks and I love it! red,black and gray! I got a jay chou concert dvd too! a cute nike red cap too! and I can't really remember what else I got. it was really fun that day. really really fun=)  the last 2 days has been full of TV, drama serials,chick flicks and concerts. really fun and nice being a coach potato.I made real crabcakes yesterday! it's really nice. and everyone ate it all up!!! HAHAHA!Claud's fake crabcakes are still in the fridge! I have started doing my GP homework. I'm stuck at week 15 of 1100 words. I shall finish doing it today. I must. my stomach has been a rubbish dump for the last few weeks. aiya. it's so irrtating. library trip today was fun=) my jamie oliver books and others are ALL GONE sadly. the hols are over so goes my cooking hobby. but I'm gonna start baking other stuff from now. yay!steamboat family thing tomorrow! maryanne yiyi,uncle patrick, and their kids-vanessa,charmaine and ryan are MOVING BACK HERE! yay! 9:45 PM

  well,so much stuff has happened and I simpldy don't know where to start.It has been great(the last week and the weekend) I really enjoyed having my cousins vanessa and charmaine over at our place. they are like sisters to me.everytime we're together we just click so well. I miss them! I didn't get to say good bye to them! but we should be seeing each other during new years day. oh that's green tea ice cream pancake. it is absolutely yummy. sweet adzuki beans studded within strong green tea ice cream wrapped between 2 sweet pancakes. it is so worth S$3! oh about the chocolate on the right. it's VALRHONA milk chocolate(the smaller box on the left) it's very mild, milky and melt in your mouth! it's very smooth. even mama commented that it was good after complaining so much about the price =p it cost S$5.50 for 75 g versus cadbury S$4 for 250 g. clique outing was fun. we must try other food than thai! no more thai food although I do like hot stuff. us gals at the clique outing!  christmas was really good. we went over to malaysia for our christmas celebration! we went to maryanne yiyi's house.everyone was there! my mother's side! all my cousins,aunts, uncles! so many people except my grand-dad. he stayed in Ipoh 'cos he was afraid that someone would rob his house. we got up super early in the morn though and still got caught in a jam at SINGAPORE'S SIDE!argh! I must say that Singaporean and Malaysian drivers are awfully rude. they cut people queue like nobody's business. we had a barbecue on xmas eve. I mixed all the marinades! it was fun. and the volume of food = tons! uncle nick was terrible at starting the fire. uncle patrick was so much better. heh anyway, it's kinda weird seeing uncle nick being so daddy-ish. I've got a 3-month old male baby cousin Eric! he's really cute! uncle nick is still uncle nick I guess. only that he's a dad now. so different from what he is before. the bad boy of the family. I enjoyed talking to all my yiyis=) in short,it was really really fun! but I didn't get to eat enough! oh I love the wet market my yiyis brought me too. so much stuff and so cheap! and I forgot to bring the red delicious apples I bought back to singapore! I miss them all... xmas mass was good in a way..I had a pretty lazy xmas anyway.hah! today too! hot dogs for lunch!  I have developed a weird kind of bond with my LIBRARY BOOKS! this is totally mad. but still..I can't seem to bear returning them. how? I don't like photocopying recipes either! argh! this is really bad..only a week more to the due date. but I did get one of the cookbooks I like. it's the family circle all favourites cookbook which I have borrowed from orchard library. so I have 2 same books now. ok enough of my nonsense. 10:30 PM

gosh I have never eaten so much chocolate in 1 day before.. the entire afternoon was spent making truffles aka xmas presents. I hope they'll like it=) they went out,leaving me and claud at home. it was kinda weird but okay I guess.. I don't feel like talking much really.. pumpkin "creme brulee" a cornstarch pudding with a slightly burnt caramel top  green tea cake which I forgot to put oil and put all the sugar into the flour mixture instead of half into whipping egg whites. lovely chocolate truffles-orange,milk choc,choc,nut surprise xmas presents for the clique and pam 11:30 PM

Reasons I'm getting fat 1)I eat alot. actually too much. let's see what I ate today. minced meat noodles, half a kaya toast, a few sips of 100 plus, chocolate pudding, orange chiffon cake, herb-cheese white bread, chicken rice, bubble tea, at least 2 scoops of icecream, 2 roast chicken drumsticks, a few chunks of potato and I can't remember. it must be more than 3000 calories. gosh 2)I haven't been exercising enough. I swim regularly but not enough(to burn those extra calories) In short,I'm dead. Reasons I'm mad 1)I slept at 3 am yesterday 'cos I couldn't sleep. I tossed about in my bed for at least more than 3 hours. 2)I eat too much. 3)I sleep too much. 4)I think about food too much. 5)I bought a kiddy shirt that doesn't look kiddy-ish. 6)I squibble with people whom I don't know. 7)I eat tons when I'm with nana. 8)I speak damn loud in public. 9)I look at cute guys blatantly. 10)I eat almost anything. 11)I tasted almost every flavour at the new icecream palour in JP. 12)I take photos of what I eat. more to add... aiya,I'm just mad. chocolate pudding with orange chiffon cake  roast chicken and potatoes.sorry about the photo quality.I was kind of anxious to take my first bite of purple/blue potato.

the smell of freshly baked orange chiffon cake is so nice! my aunt just baked it. it's ultra nice smelling!!! my aunt and cousins are staying over at my place. Maryann yiyi.Ryan.Vanessa.Charmaine. Vincent and Vivien(Nyoke yiyi's kids) I woke up at 12 today. awfully late. it's really weird to wake up so early.it's like a waste of time. I didn't set my alarm. seriously speaking, I didn't do anything much today. I slept at least half the day away. we went back to bukit batok to buy stuff. the fruitshop sells strawberries from Korea. it's really expensive. 11 bucks for one big punnet! it looks really plasticky and perfect. I wanted to get them but mama said no! another time I guess. we bought dinner home. all the yummy hawker food from bukit batok. so yummy! 10:15 PM

 we went to bugis.me, my mum, my younger siblings and grandma. Ma wanted to bring popo to the temple so she can go on her own. me and mel went off together. we went too early so the shops(bugis village) weren't open at all! so we went to Parco. we didn't get anything much except a pair of ear studs. but in the end we got some nice stuff. I got a kiddy T-shirt! not very kiddy but it's kinda cute. I can wear it for family stuff. there was this weird ultraman person walking around the children section.I found it really weird but amusing. oh I checked out the Tefal Jamie Oliver professional series. it's really cool and so expensive! at least S$150 for a regular-sized frying pan! I went out with nana too(when I came back home) we went to boon lay place again. and bubble tea shop is stop no. 1. I had a hair-cutwhile nana just sat next to me. the person chopped off so much of my hair. I have a different parting now. it's kind of weird but it's ok. we ate JH's chicken rice. it's ultra yummy! we were so embarrassed to order 'cos he's nana's old flame. haha! we ate everything up in 5 minutes. rice, chicken, vegetables and everything! swimming was fun.playing crocodile with my siblings constitutes a great workout! Claud's friends came over.she cooked for them.She made Onion Soup, roast chicken and pasta. her onion soup is nice but I prefer the stock she used. Roast chicken wasn't as good as mine. too oily and the potatoes were undercooked. Pasta was scarily yucky. I was quite shocked by the state of it. ok I'm quite bad,critisicing my sis's cooking. enough of it all. tuck into chocolate pudding as a dessert, first course or whatever. it's good enough!  11:00 PM

 another slack day.K WENT TO HK! I'll miss her.. anyway,it's the usual stuff I do almost everyday. we had burgers for lunch!!so yummy!! my lil bro loves it.. melted cheese.ketchup.beef patty.cherry tomatoes(cos' we have tons to use up) and toasted burger buns! I 'steamed my bed' using the steam vacuum. I don't quite see how it gets rid of bugs but still. I aired all my pillows too. I changed all covers. So tada clean bed to sleep on! my weird insect repellent bag broke! I had to pick up the little bits and scotch tape the bag. I was too lazy to go to the library with them.So I stayed at home and napped on my nice clean bed=) haha! I made stuff for dinner. it's kind of weird. it's like fusion. Western and oriental. it's just weird but it doesn't taste salty enough. (heh,I think I scrimp too much on the salt and sauces) but it's quite nice. I just made up some recipe from another. It was kinda hard getting it to brown. yummy dish though! I made chocolate pudding for Claudia's friends who are coming tomorrow. see! I'm such a nice younger sis! we'll get to eat it too! yumyumyum! it was such a big pot of chocolatey stuff! almost like soup. we're going out tomorrow.yay! oh mandy! I won't be going to the bird park! I can only go next week when you're not around sadly. burgers for lunch!  crusty baked chicken 10:30 PM

we went to watch Perhaps Love at Lot 1. me nana YY and esther. it was really fun=) I like the movie. the musical part is really nice. the singing is fabulous oh esp. the Takeshi Kaneshiro part oh gosh swoon!!!! he is one totally gorgeous taiwanese-japanese guy!!! the fiercest glare he gives when is sings is so hot! oh my.me and nana were commenting throughout the entire movie how shuai he was=p I think the other people watching the movie with us must have been pretty irritated considering we made SO much noise during it. AND we laughed and giggled like mad when Jacky Cheung's character fell to death(it's fake) in the movie he was directing. his facial expression then was totally exagerated. but no one else found it funny except us but who cares anyway. we laughed psychotically as he 'bled to death' nana even sad the blood looked like coke!! haha.it was a nice movie on the whole. it's kinda complictated though. I like Zhou Xun. she's pretty in a delicate way and she sure can sing. Jacky Cheung should sing less! Poor Takeshi Kaneshiro sang only one number! I like the movie.oh eye candy Takeshi Kaneshiro!!! we went shopping. well kind of. I bought ear rings, stripey colourful socks for school, shoe laces for mel, innsect repellent for my room and I can't remember. we all got stuff anyway. nana spent tons of time trying out board shorts. quite funny. she tried like at least 10 shorts. I found one nice one! but it's too big and kinda expensive so too bad no board shorts. yay!happy day. we must have another day out together! with everyone present! 7:45 PM

today is another stay-at-home-and-rot day. once again,I wasn't able to wake up in time to bake banana bread for breakfast but I did bake it to eat randomly. it's quite nice to eat but my elder sis complains it's so hard that it can kill someone! so awfully bad. I admit I'm not exactly very good with bread but still. it has a really dense and chewy texture. The honey drizzled over does make it taste so good! I made stuff for lunch to go along with my mum's weird soup.I fried bacon and cheese ommelettes and did this baked beans with bacon on top. I did this on impulse really. it'a a lil too much bacon but bacons tastes really taste(and not to mention tons of fat) banana bread  cheese and bacon omelette and baked beans with bacon  nana's back from OBS. she sure is enthu about it all. I heard quite a bit of stuff from her.should be hearing more tomorrow! we're going out to watch Perhaps Love. I hope it's nice. I quite like musicals in a way. argh!I have tons of weird insect bites on my right leg. it's awfully itchy! stupid bugs! okay.I went back to the kitchen to make dinner aka baked rice. I seared chicken slices,sauteed mushroom,par-boiled rice,mixed up stuff and what-nots. It's quite fun. it turned out pretty ok,only not salty enough. baked rice  11:00 PM

Today's trip to library was quite nice really. I was able to borrow 3 Jamie Oliver books and a Italian cookbook which is very very good.so yay! more ideas on what to cook. I saw quite a few ppl.BS and YC.schoolmate and ah soh P.leong..hehehe I bet she'll kill me if I talk about how she looked like.tsk tsk.but very amusing though. I wanted to bake banana bread but I couldn't wake up on time 'cos I wanna bake for breakfast.shall try tomorrow. Dinner was really nice.Oxtail soup;full of yummy vegetables and my mum's wholemeal herb dinner rolls.so yummy! oh I got a pair of nike sneakers(they're the same as Aud's.only it's blue) for school since the soles of my adidas sneakers are getting worn out.I still like my adidas better but it's a nice change I guess.  9:15 PM

lalala.. it's a nice day. I now have a habit of waking up in the middle of the night for no reason.It's quite weird really. I made breakfast!Jamie Oliver's recipes are GOOD!! the pancakes were awfully fluffy and yummy! and fresh blueberries taste oh-so-good=) yumyum! oh cheese and bacon pancakes would be really really good too.(only managed to make 2 cheddar pancakes) Breakfast- BLUEBERRY Pancakes  well,after doing breakfast,I started on doing lunch!!! I made a salad from lettuce,avocado and 2 types of grapefruit. the most interesting thing was the roast chicken.I think it's quite yucky to chop chicken parts off aka the neck and legs.(I saw the artery and vein at the neck.can't remember the names though.thankfully,no blood.)and picking off random little feathers. but the roasting part is quite fun.I just dump it into the oven and it comes out really nice=) it tastes really nice too!! Lunch Avocado-grapefruit salad

hey.I'm back after a couple of days having a totally cranky stomach which is almost back to normal except when I see or smell oily stuff,it just turns me off. I've been swimming for 5 days in a row.good or bad? I don't quite know really. sorry,jade.I couldn't make it for the sleepover.I felt pukey but didn't puke and had to take panadol extra 'cos I had bodyaches. well,we went to the zoo today. me,my siblings excluding elder sis,mum,two malaysian cousins,my aunt and another two cousins.ok this is.... all of us excluding mel(my sis)
as usual,as what people do in the zoo,we went about looking at all sorts of animals.it's quite interesting really.we caught a couple of animal shows too=) ok the following pic is for geog students only. well,to geoggies,this is kinda cool.well,I found this at the baboon enclosure.it's the really huge african looking place.there are tons of pink-backside baboons running about. click on it to read the wordings.
ok back to the usual stuff. I saw my two favorite animals. the giraffe-Marco and the elephant-Komali
we saw the giraffes up close.so pretty and so tall! the elephants were really nice too=) in short,it was a nice trip to the zoo.our extremely late lunch at ajisen lot 1 was nice too.so are the jay chou cards I bought=p HAPPY BIRTHDAY,mama! if u'll ever read my blog. 10:30 PM

SUN It was a really fun day. my cousins,aunts,uncles and granddad came over.A total of 4 families including mine. heh.nana came over to swim.she was kinda embarassed 'cos they were so many people. I made sushi! and miso soup..it's yummy.my mum made me roll mango with some of the sushi.I think it's weird.like totally.the mango masks the taste of the other stuff in the sushi. Sushi  swimming with nana was fun=) we went to boon lay place again!and drank bubble tea as usual.I think the bubble tea lady recognises us already! gosh..nana's off to Outward Bound School for a grand total of 9 DAY! it's madness..YY's off to M'sia..well the rest are all busy.guess we'll meet up a week or 2 later. Star awards was simply fantastic.it's the best star awards I've ever seen.Guo Liang and Patty Hou are wonderful hosts.Everyone there were hot and everything except some.it was thoroughly entertaining I must say. TODAY I ate alot today.I seriously need to eat alot less and exercise more or I'll balloon. swimming everyday! as usual,I did nothing much except to laze around,read books and sleep. But I did bake something.I baked cranberry-apple pie. I'm quite excited talking about this 'cos I have never used cranberries before and they are really hard to get in Singapore.BUT I did get fresh cranberries! yummy! the pie has a crumble top which is really nice. I had a very nice dinner just now=) absolutely yummy! I wore out my red shoes for the 1st time.how exciting=p haha! they're quite comfy really.. anyway,the past 2 days are quite enjoyable.just slacking and reading books from the library.. My cousins are going to stay for the entire of next week! oh yay!!!! 'cos they are the cousins from M'sia that loves to eat ALOT like me!another plus point is that I can bake and cook for them.so they'll be my guinea pigs!!so fun!I'm going to plan the menu ASAP!! I think I'm quite mad.so please ignore me. I'm a happy person. I baked or rather made a frozen chocolate mousse pie in the afternoon. I woke up with He's able in my mind. I think class camp has drilled too many devotion songs into me. I kinda miss the kids,even though they're naughty and everything else,but still... thank goodness,I have my brother.. I slacked and slept ALOT!haha! hello!!!! I'm finally back here blogging=) the past few days has been hectic. SAT Saturday was spent with part of the BV gang.nana,BS and YY. me,nana,and BS has lots of fun playing in the pool!haha! me and nana bought shoes to paint and design.hers is green-yellow and with glow-in-the dark stuff.it's quite cute really. at 1st,I painted my shoes plain red all over.but it turned out a dark orange which is totally yucky!so I scrubbed off as much paint as possible.I painted it today=) it is red,orange and silver white.it's pretty to me. my shoes and nana's shoes
